If you are going to get yourself a role on the sizzling hot HBO series, True Blood, everybody’s favorite paranormal romp, then you had better do your best to make it a recurring one. That’s the feat that actress Paola Turbay has just accomplished. Way to go, girl!

The former Miss Colombia has enjoyed roles on CBS series, The Mentalist, Showtime’s Californication, ABC’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, TNT’s The Closer, and feature film Love in the Time of Cholera. Now she will portray “Antonia”. What do we know about Antonia? Well, she’s Spanish, but that wasn’t tough to guess, now was it? We have to say thank you to our friends at Deadline.com for the info. They also reported Turbay “made her U.S. series debut as a regular on CBS’s Cane and has been recurring on USA’s Royal Pains.” So let’s hope this is the beginning of more good times for her.

True Blood will also see a visit from vivacious actress Evan Rachel Wood, should she actually sign the dotted line for a season four role. She is not alone.
