Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – 2 New Looks!

Avast, you scurvy bilge-monkeys! In addition to the behind the scenes video and the collection of photos we’ve previously shown for On Stranger Tides, we have a couple more peeks into the fourth movie of the Pirates franchise that give us a double-shot of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and a decidedly different look at Geoffrey Rush as Barbosa. Is it just me or does he look really odd in non-pirate garb? Oh well, at least he still has a nice hat.

One interesting thing that caught my attention in the photo with Barbosa and Jack together is something in the lower right corner that looks suspiciously like the top part of a crutch. Does Barbosa end up with a bum leg in this adventure? I guess it would be only fitting for something to finally slow him down… considering he died at the end of the first film. Gotta love Hollywood. Not that I’m complaining. Next to Captain Jack himself, Barbosa is my favorite character.

There are vague whisperings around about at least two more Pirates films being done so I really hope Jack finds the Fountain of Youth in this one. It sounds like he might need it.
