Robert Pattinson and James Frain – No Twilight/True Blood Vampire Connection

Actor James Frain was Thomas Cromwell on Showtime’s The Tudors. He recently portrayed Jarvis, Clu’s right hand man, in Tron: Legacy. But you probably know him best as True Blood‘s Franklin Mott on HBO. Franklin is a vampire. Edward Cullen is a vampire. So, when James Frain shared the screen recently with Robert Pattinson, they must have had a lot to talk about.
Or perhaps not. The two appear in Water for Elephants with Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz due to take theaters by storm on April 22nd. See the exciting teaser trailer now. Rosie is the title elephant. Frain portrays the pachyderm’s caretaker and Pattinson is her new vet. So, did they swap vampire tales on the set?
Frain told the independent.ie, no. “My scenes were with Robert Pattinson but I’m sorry to say we didn’t swap vampire stories. I wish we had. People can’t believe there’s going to be a scene in the movie with a Twilight vampire talking to a True Blood vampire and that we didn’t spend our time chatting about that, but I’m afraid not. I wish I’d got vampire tips from him, I wish I’d gone ‘Oi, Bob mate, any tips?’.”
Pattinson did make a good impression, however. “He’s sweet, quite shy, just a really good guy,” said Frain.
James Frain will also appear in the new super hero television series, The Cape, while Pattinson was the center of a gift from Vogue Italia.
