Sucker Punch! Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung and Abbie Cornish Posters

Zack Snyder’s Sucker Punch is either going to be a movie that everyone talks about because it is just so incredibly awesome or it’s going to be one of those movies that everyone talks about because they can’t believe one movie can suck so bad. Either way, it will be on everyone’s mind so I guess that’s a good thing.

Parallel Universe has unveiled some new promo images for the movie that do a pretty good job of capturing at least half of the storyline. We get to see Emily Browning as Baby Doll, Vanessa Hudgens as Blondie, Jena Malone as Rocket, Jamie Chung as Amber, and Abbie Cornish in the role of Sweet Pea.

Sucker Punch, described as Alice in Wonderland with machine guns, is about a girl in the 1950’s who is locked away in an institution by her stepfather. With a few new friends, an imaginary mentor, and the creation of an imaginary world where the chicks can kick some serious butt, a plan is made to break out of the prison-like asylum.

You’ll have to check out the trailer for yourself because the film really is impossible to describe with just words. Just imagine your favorite action video game, and throw in the most CGI-filled movie you can think of. Add in a few shots of women wearing skimpy clothes and stick a fire-breathing dragon in there, just to make sure you got all the bases covered. Mix all those elements together and you get Sucker Punch… and yes, I’m afraid I have to admit that I will be watching it when it comes out on March 25th.

Get a more in-depth look at the film with the extended trailer that also has some pretty cool music included, see the girls in a whole different set of promo pics, and check out the wicked Sucker Punch banner that shows as much action as a single picture possibly can.
