Sundance 2011 – The Details Review

I review the new TV shows, movies, and recap the episodes you missed. Sundance is winding down in Park City. The industry will leave our tiny town in peace at least until next year. The Details is one of the many suburban black comedies that are trying to be like American Beauty. Tobey Maguire is Jeff Lang a doctor who just wants to get rid of raccoons and ends up getting involved in infidelity, blackmail, and murder. The Details is directed and written by Jacob Aaron Estes and stars Elizabeth Banks as Nealy Lang, Ray Liotta as Peter, and Laura Linney as the crazy neighbor Lila. Next time I will be reviewing Margin Call.
