The Green Hornet – Review

I review the new TV shows, movies, books, and recap the episodes you missed. The Green Hornet is Seth Rogen’s and Evan Goldberg latest endeavor. Originally a 1930s radio program The Green Hornet has been adapted into movie serials, television series, and comic books. Mostly it was known for the 1966 series starring Bruce lee as the faithful martial arts master Kato. In The Green Hornet Britt Reid and Kato pretend to be bad guys to get close to the real bad guys. In the latest movie they take a more comical slant on the character to fit Seth Rogen’s acting style better. The Green Hornet stars Seth Rogen as The Green Hornet, Jay Chou as Kato, and Cameron Diaz as an unnecessary love interest.

I was totally disappointed with the new Green Hornet movie. I’m a big fan of the original series unfortunetly not to many where made. Get good writers together along with a good action director like the ones that made Ironman or Batman. Hire good actors to play the roles of the Green Hornet and Kato. My choices for the Green Hornet would be George Clooney, Val Kilmer,Pierce Bronin or Russell Crowe. My only choice for Kato would have to be Jet Li. The Green Hornet was a serious series lets keep it that way. I see a blockbuster in the near future.
