Alyssa Milano Down For New Year’s Eve
Alyssa Milano is joining the all-star cast of Garry Marshall’s romantic comedy, New Year’s Eve, according to Variety. Milano’s character will be a nurse caring for an elderly patient (who might be Robert De Niro) who has nobody to spend New Year’s Eve with.
The film will follow various characters that are linked in someway as they deal with the highs and lows of romance during the last night of the year. The cast includes Jon Bon Jovi, Robert De Niro, Til Schweiger, Sofia Vergara, Josh Duhamel, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ashton Kutcher, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jessica Biel, and Katherine Heigl, who just replaced Halle Berry.
Garry Marshall has expressed interest in having Justin Bieber do a cameo but Justin’s schedule might prevent him from taking part in the project.
While New Year’s Eve follows the same set-up and has many of the same faces from Marshall’s Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve isn’t actually a sequel and the cast plays entirely different characters.
Even with those minor changes, it looks like Valentine’s Day all over again.
