Blake Lively – No Sex In the City, Hick with Chloe Moretz

Gossip Girl Blake Lively let a few ‘Sex’ addicts down when she revealed to ITN that she will not be portraying a young Carrie Bradshaw in a Sex and the City prequel. Rumors have been circulating around linking the rising star with the project but Blake says another film is taking up her schedule at the moment, even though she’s a fan of the show.

In addition to appearing alongside emerald gladiator Ryan Reynolds in Green Lantern and being  named AskMen’s ‘Most Desirable Woman of 2011′, Blake has also been rumored to be on a short list of names being considered for the female lead in Incarceron with Taylor Lautner.

While the space policeman with the cool ring might not be intellectually stimulating, Blake is hoping to expand her horizons to more challenging roles since getting a lot of praise from critics for her role in the Ben Affleck heist movie, The Town. One of those upcoming more challenging roles will be playing the drug addict mother of a thirteen-year-old girl in Hick with Chloe Moretz.
