Captain America and Thor Movie Images

Want to make yours Marvel this year? I know I do. And to remind you why they are so worthy to be yours, the legendary comic book company has released some delightful preview images for their upcoming mega films, Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor.

I feel like Thor should get a cool subtitle, too. Why should Cap’s movie get the longer title? Why don’t we call it Thor: The Hunk of Asgard? Perhaps not.

It was the Collider that also showcased these great pics from Marvel and reminded us they are due to arrive this year, with Chris Evans as Cap making his debut July 22nd, preceded by Thor, which will hit May 6th. I’m counting the days. Are you?

The Captain America film stills spotlight actor Hugo Weaving (V for Vendetta, Lord of the Rings, Matrix) as the villainous Red Skull, soon to be the archenemy of Cap, aka Steve Rogers. They also show Chris Evans in action (The Losers, Push, Cellular) as well as his love interest, Peggy Carter, as portrayed by Hayley Atwell.

Meanwhile, the Thor gallery includes shots of the son of Odin warming up to Natalie Portman as a puny mortal. You can enjoy the Thor trailer here on BSC and revisit his Super Bowl spot. You can also hear about Nick Fury, set to appear in both Marvel films.
