Christie Burke Cast in Breaking Dawn 2 as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s Teen Renesmee?

Today, Twihards, we have a bit of exciting casting news for you (which follows the news of a new vamp). Though the tidbit is unconfirmed as of yet, it is intertwined with a mega spoiler alert, so be warned ye who have not read Stephenie Meyer’s best selling vampire and werewolf romance novels. Yes, especially if you have not read the final chapter, Breaking Dawn, you should be wary.

As our BSC readers already know, bringing Renesemee Cullen to life for the upcoming final film(s) will take both science and art. While Mackenzie Foy is the pint-sized actress so far most readily associated with the part, it may take a small army of Renesmee actresses to portray the half vampire, half human child at various stages of her development, because she will age unusually rapidly. Actresses like Rachel St. Gelais will probably be Renesemee’s body, while some semblance of Foy’s face is projected upon them.

Fascinating as this art and science is, don’t forget that a certain werewolf is going to imprint on the spawn of Edward and Bella, fated then to love her forever. Audiences will want to see Jake and Renesmee as a proper couple, not so mismatched in ages. They’ll want to see the immortals happy together.

That’s why BreakingDawnMovie.org is presenting, the beauty, Christie Burke. She has the right look and right now she’s rumored to be playing a teenage Renesmee Cullen. Hooray!

TwiCraddict Addict reported Burke “appears to get to make out with Taylor Lautner in a flash-forward to Jacob and Renesmee living happily ever after… Whether this is a Bella flash forward or when Jacob first imprints on her (as previous rumored Lainey script deets detailed a Jacob/Renesemee montage) will remain to be seen.” Summit has not confirmed any of this information as of yet, but I say Burke is a good choice. Don’t forget to visit Edward and Bella’s cottage in the woods on BSC, also.

It makes no sense to have a teenage version of Edward & Bella’s daughter unless they plan on taking the storyline well past where the book left off. So, are they creating new material past what Stephenie Meyers wrote?

I read the Twilight series and listened to the audio books numerous times. Bella and Edward’s daughter is still a young child when Breaking Dawn ends, still being tucked in by her parents. Jacob’s love for her is not romantic in Breaking Dawn, why ruin this by making her a teenager. It’s not following the original storyline. I agree with Angelia, “it makes no sense….”

Its perfectly normal that the directors makes their own little story line in a movie based on books, as long as its okay for the author. Its makes sense as long as it does not completely change the story. What is the big deal? They did a tuns of changes with The Lord of the Rings movies, yet many fans found it appealing.
