Craig Gillespie To Helm Pride and Prejudice and Zombies?

Craig Gillespie might be going to the zombies.
Thus far the Australian director’s works include, the wacky, heartfelt film, Lars and the Real Girl, and the upcoming horror remake extravaganza Fright Night. We may soon be allowed to add Pride and Prejudice and Zombie (the movie) to that growing list.
The news comes to us via Vulture, and follows the word that director Mike White is out of the project.
Hathaway and McAvoy may re-team to be Gillespie’s principal cast members , but at this point we have not gotten word that any of the three have signed contracts.

I can’t wait for this project to finally get off the ground, but I’m even more excited about Fright Night, which Vulture said would hit theaters in August. The reboot has the perfect cast, in my humble opinion! Bloody-Disgusting said Colin Farrel is the vampire who moves in next door to Anton Yelchin. His mother, Toni Collette, is dazzled by the monster, who eventually takes Yelchin’s love interest, Imogen Poots. Yelchin then teams David Tennant, who is filling the shoes of the beloved Roddy McDowall, as a television personality who may know how to slay vampires. Lastly, and most brilliant of all the casting choices, is Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad, Kick-Ass) as Evil, Yelchin’s buddy who eventually joins the vampire’s coven.
