Green Lantern: Emerald Knights Trailer – Nathan Fillion!

DC Comics is going green as they present Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, a feature offering six interlocking story lines in one great, animated film. We’ve got the trailer just for you. Yes, ladies, you can watch, too. There are female Green Lanterns, you know!

To be released June 7th and starring the voice talent of Nathan Fillon (aka Firefly/ Serenity‘s as Malcolm “Mal” Reynolds, aka television’s Castle), the plot follows the intrepid Hal Jordan as he and his fellow Green Lantern Corps members protect the universe from danger. What else would they be doing, eh?

Since Warner Bros offering, Green Lantern, the live action spectacular, starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, and Tim Robbins, won’t hit theaters until June 17th, consider Emerald Knights your animated appetizer!

Each sector of space is protected by a Green Lantern, possessing a power ring that uses a powerful green energy to do anything within the limits of the user’s imagination and will power. When the Green Lantern assigned to this sector of space finds himself dying on planet Earth, he tells the ring to find a suitable successor. The chosen replacement, hot-shot test pilot Hal Jordan, finds himself with a new job he never expected…
