Poor David Letterman is having a rough time this week. In addition to getting suckered by a Lindsay Lohan con, an office worker stole his thunder by going on Twitter and leaking the cover girl news regarding the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Pretty soon, people are going to have to start signing their lives away when they start working somewhere just to rein in the temptation of blabbing secrets on the Twitter beast. The Huffington Post has some eye-popping photos of 25-year-old cover girl Irina Shayk, along with another sizzling beauty that can be found under the cover.

The girlfriend of Portuguese footballer (soccer to us U.S. heathens) Cristiano Ronaldo, turned on the waterworks when she found out she grabbed the coveted cover spot on the annual Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated. During her interview on The Today Show, Irina jokingly implied that she thought her heritage would keep her from getting blind-sided, “To be on the cover of Sports Illustrated is a dream come true. We Russians, you know, we know all the secrets, but I didn’t know I was landing on the cover of Sports Illustrated, and it was so surprising to me. I was in shock; I was crying.”

Irina posed for the photo shoot months ago in Hawaii and the Philippines so the folks at SI did a great job of hiding the info from the sexy woman that needs to brush up on her spying skills. Maybe she should check out Twitter more often.
