Kat Dennings – One of Two Broke Girls

Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist) has joined the CBS comedy Two Broke Girls, according to Deadline. The pilot, written and executive produced by Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings, revolves around two very different women. Max (Dennings) was born poor, and Caroline was born with a silver spoon in her mouth but you couldn’t tell it at the moment because of a streak of bad luck. The two women both end up working at a Brooklyn diner and soon become friends, despite the differences in their lives. Together, the two girls come up with a business venture that could change both their lives for the better… but they have to come up with $250,000 in start-up expenses first.
The role of the other ‘broke girl’ hasn’t been cast yet but Dennings makes a great start for what could possibly be a fun comedy. If you haven’t seen the funnier side of her, then you should definitely check out the newest trailer for Thor, which features Dennings as sidekick Darcy to Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster. There’s no doubt that Dennings will get all the best lines in that movie.
