Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Video Game Trailer

Attention gamers, I hope the Force is strong with you, because Lego Star Wars is back with a vengeance! The game of the hour is Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, and we’ve got the trailer, just for you.

Thank you, EW, for this great preview of the upcoming game, which their exclusive said, was “Based on the popular Cartoon Network series [and] rated-E10+.” Furthermore, it “features new sprawling ground campaigns and new ways of using the Force.” Let’s face it. The Force is cool, anyway you use it. Based on this trailer, is this a game you’ll rent or buy?

Cue that epic music, because you can learn more details over at the official LucasArts site. One tagline I discovered there was especially amusing. “To explore the galaxy, use the keyboard you must.” The adorable site is an interactive game in itself!

By clicking the latest news tab, I was swifted away to the GameInformer site, where I learned 5 things I should definitely know about this game.

5. This is pretty similar to the other Lego titles you know, and hopefully like.

4. Characters include: Jedi, dark Jedi, clonetrooper and droid, but according to GI, “this game is packed to the gills with fan favorites and obscurities alike.”

3. Some of the new abilities offered to you include being able to throw your lightsaber or use the Force to lift a battle droids and then use its gunfire. Some Clonetroopers are equipped with rocket launchers and chainguns. Sheesh. I don’t remember that from the films.

2. GI says, “One of the Clone Wars’ new gimmicks is something that LucasArts is calling Scene Swap,” which allows “players to swap back and forth between pairs of action sequences.”

1. And finally, you should definitely check this game out, because GI reports, its “better” than your average Lego title.

Need more Star Wars? It ain’t just for gamers.
