Meet Star Wars: Clone Wars Tarkin
The moment many fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars have been anticipating has finally arrived. On tonight’s episode, viewers will be introduced to a young Wilhuff Tarkin, who will go on to become Grand Moff Tarkin and, along with Emperor Palpatine, make Darth Vader his bitch.
In the episode, the first of a three-part arc, Tarkin is a captain in the Imperial Guard. He meets his rival Anakin Skywalker (voiced by Matt Lanter, 90210) and kicks off a contentious relationship that will…well, anyone who’s seen A New Hope knows how that ends up.
Tarkin, played by Peter Cushing in A New Hope, will be voiced by Stephen Stanton. The episode, titled “The Citadel,” airs tonight at 8:30 eastern on the Cartoon Network. EW.com has a preview clip here.
