Smallville’s Aaron Ashmore to Warehouse 13
EW reports that Aaron Ashmore, best known for playing Jimmy Olsen in Smallville, is joining the cast of SyFy’s Warehouse 13 for its third season. He will be playing Steve Jinks, an ATF agent who can tell when someone’s lying.
When the second season ended, Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) lost his partner Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) when she quit after being betrayed by H.G. Wells (Jaime Murray). Mrs. Frederic (C.C. H. Pounder) recruits Fink to be Pete’s new partner.
Ashmore, who is not to be confused with his twin Shawn (X-Men), will be a regular on Warehouse 13. The series, about government agents who guard and investigate artifacts of mysterious origins, is currently Syfy’s most popular original show. Its second season averaged over 3 million viewers. It returns with new episodes this summer.
