True Blood Season 4 – Denis O’Hare Back?

Will fang-bangers witness a return of the king? THR has the skinny. Actor Denis O’Hare has brought to life the character of Russell Edgington, “the flamboyant vampire king,” on the one, the only, the True Blood series on HBO. O’Hare was in attendance for the New York edition of the WGA Awards Saturday night, and that’s when THR popped the question about putting in a return appearance.

“I left them on a high. They have been very, very nice to me, and they tell me that they think I’m going to come back,” he said. “And I’m waiting. We’ll see what happens.”

O’Hare couldn’t offer any spoliers, though.

“Someone discussed a possible idea with me, which, of course, I can’t tell you,” O’Hare said. “But it’s a very cool idea. It’s not far fetched, but it’s not something that you would see coming.”

What will the actor do in the meantime? “I’m waiting for this movie to come out. It’s called The Eagle and comes out Feb. 11,” he said. Of course, we cinema-philes know The Eagle is epic historical adventure, which transforms Channing Tatum into a 2nd Century AD Roman Soldier. Denis O’Hare’s character goes by the name of Lutorius.

“And then I’m doing a Clint Eastwood movie, J. Edgar Hoover with Leonardo DiCaprio. We start shooting soon. I go out to L.A. in two weeks.” And you know all about that bio-pic thanks to our coverage, right here on BSC.

As for True Blood, the all new fourth season is coming! Actor Kevin Alejandro has some yummy details.
