Allison Mack on “Super” Smallville Finale?
Smallville fans are anticipating the finale of the long running series on May 13th (remember when people used to say a Superman show without Superman wouldn’t work?) and TVLine has caught wind of some info that might make viewers a little happier to see the show go.
As is usual for shows that have been around for a while, the final episode is shaping up to be quite a reunion. Heck, they were even able to get Michael Rosenbaum back as Lex Luthor one last time, and many were convinced that would never happen. Now, Smallville fans are wondering what the end will be like without Chloe (Allison Mack) around. She had signed on for only five episodes, and February 25th’s episode, Fortune, hit that magic number.
Fortunately, all might not be lost for Chloe-lovers as a “well-placed source” has revealed that Mack returned to the set and will actually be a part of the series finale. Keep in mind that those pesky sources can sometimes be full of hot air but it makes perfect sense to bring Mack back for one last hurrah. She’s been there from the beginning and it would just seem wrong on so many levels for her to not be there at the end.
Are you hoping the rumor is true or would you be just as happy to not have Chloe back for the series send-off?
