Eliza Dushku and Damon Wayans Sports Radio on CBS

Are you ready for Damon Wayans to return to television? Well, get ready because he’s set to star in the CBS comedy Sports Radio along side co-star Eliza Dushku. TV Line hit was with the news. Wayans will be a radio host very much like “ESPN personality Colin Cowherd’”, who runs the “outspoken sports talk show The Herd.” Wayans will have to portray “a quick wit and cocky likability.” That shouldn’t be too hard.

Dushku is Wayans’s on-air side kick, Casey. “In a celebratory post on her Facebook page, Dushku confirmed the news and referred to Wayans as her comic idol.” I have to say I’m a little disappointed she isn’t returning to the airwaves in some sort of action centric pilot. Aside from a Big Bang Theory guest visit, I haven’t seen Dushku since Dollhouse was canceled. And her involvement in Bird Dog is definitely not happening now.
