Janina Gavankar in True Blood Season 4 teaser

It has been a while since we featured some video teasers for True Blood, fangbangers, but today appears to be your lucky day. Season four, based loosely upon the fourth novel in The Southern Vampire Mysteries series, Dead to the World, for those of you who are Charlaine Harris readers, is scheduled to return to HBO on June 12th. We first reported on Gavankar’s trip to Bon Temps back in December. It seems she will portray “Luna, a sexy shapeshifting school teacher.” She’s not the only newbie en route to the HBO set. Paula Turbay and Daniel Buran are coming soon, while Evan Rachel Wood, Kevin Alejandro, and Allan Hyde will return to reprise their roles. Even the King may make a come back.

There’s a lot of buzz surrounding this season as there’s plenty more than just vampires around to make things interesting for Sookie Stackhouse. The books may be drawing to an end, but the show just keeps getting hotter.
