Shia LaBeouf Grows Horns After Transformers Dark of Moon?

It could be a case of “Like father, like son” as another Joe Hill story finds its way from page to screen, and Variety reports that Transformers: Dark of the Moon human star Shia LaBeouf will be bringing Hill’s creation to life.

Joe Hill’s Horns was picked up by Mandalay Pictures back in 2009 and it looks to finally be gaining a little momentum with a name finally attached to the lead character, although I’m not entirely sure LaBeouf is right for the part.

The story revolves around Ig Perrish after he wakes up from a night of wild drunkenness. He doesn’t remember exactly what he did but he figures it must be bad because he now has a pair of horns growing from his head. At first confused and frightened, Ig learns there might be an upside to having devil horns when he realizes they could possibly help him discover the truth about the unsolved murder of his girlfriend.

Hill, the son of horror master Stephen King, also has his Locke and Key comic book showing up as a new series on Fox, with his dad’s mega-story, The Dark Tower, invading both movies and television.
