30 Rock – “100th Episode” – review

What are the odds that the same night Community does its own version of a clip show, 30 Rock goes for a traditional clip show format? Unfortunately, 30 Rock comes out looking the worse for the comparison. Add onto that, this was an hour-long episode, which I think is too much time for this kind of show.

All that aside, I was pretty amused with the episode. I like Michael Keaton guest starring randomly as a janitor, explaining there’s a gas leak at 30 Rock. Having everyone high made everything a lot better, especially Jack seeing different versions of himself; past, future, and sideways.

We got the return of Dennis, which is always a welcome treat, as well as more Rachel Dratch.

I really don’t have much else to say. Seeing the Community episode beforehand really hurt my view of this episode.
