Claire Danes in Showtime’s Homeland Teaser

Showtime picked up the drama series Homeland last week and they’re already showing it off with a little sneak peek at what we can expect from it.
Claire Danes plays a CIA officer, Carrie Anderson, who suspects that Scott Brody (Damian Lewis), a rescued prisoner of war that was missing for nine years, is now actually working for the Al-Qaeda. Mandy Patinkin plays Saul, a veteran CIA Division Chief who is also Carrie’s boss and mentor.
This was pretty mean of Showtime. The series doesn’t even start production until the summer and I already want to watch it.
Homeland is based on Gideon Raff’s Israeli series Prisoners of War, and was written by former 24 showrunner Howard Gordon, Raff and Alex Gansa.
Check out the clip below and let me know what you think. Does it look like something that will be worth tuning in for?
