One of the major television headlines over at TV Line today reads this way: “Burn Notice Exclusive: Ex-Grey’s Anatomy Pot-Stirrer Lauren Stamile Snags Major Role.” Those are the morsels we like to read!
When you read an adjective like “major”, you’ve got to sit up and pay attention. The Line said Stamile’s part would be recurring and we would first meet her on the screen for Burn Notice‘s “forthcoming fifth season.”
So, will she play? The character is called Kim Pearce, “a brilliant, unpredictable and formidable” CIA operative. She’s on an official mission to track down the killer of another CIA agent. That will lead Michael (Jeffrey Donovan), who she’ll “lean on” for some assistance, “only to learn that Michael himself may be involved.” Dun dun dun! The Burn Notice season premier is scheduled to hit on June 23rd.
