Hawkeye in New Thor Clip

Attention movie bus, fan boys, fan girls, and true believers; we have exciting Marvel news to finish your week off right.

Hawkeye is a character, often affiliated with The Avengers, a super hero team, and the stars of an upcoming Joss Whedon film. If you are familiar with the DC Comics character, Green Arrow, you’ll find some similarities between the pair. Well, not only is Hawkeye, portrayed by Hurt Locker‘s Jeremy Renner (The Town), set to appear in The Avengers, but we will also have the pleasure of seeing him cameo in Thor, which comes to theaters, thankfully, on May 6th. I really couldn’t wait any longer than that!

We have a small morsel of proof for you today about Hawkeye’s cameo. Actually, you’ll get two goodies for the price of one. Below is a great clip of Thor‘s Chris Hemmsworth in action, kicking butt and taking names. Also there appears to be a shot of Hawkeye. I had a lot of trouble seeing the archery master in the clip, but he is apparently what the camera is panning over to when you see the shot of the helicopter and someone in a box hovering high overhead in the rainy night sky. Hey, its something folks, so enjoy it!
