Hugh Jackman joining Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron in Snow White and the Huntsman?

The exclusive over at Deadline.com suggests Viggo Mortensen is out as far as the role of the Huntsman in Snow White and the Huntsman is concerned. Who is being considered next? The Wolverine, of course. That picture’s star, Hugh Jackman, may be available because the mutant re-boot film was set to shoot in Japan, and the location has been slammed of late. So, Universal has gone and offered Jackman the role of the Huntsman. Will he accept? We’ll have to eagerly await that answer.

Deadline reports, “The Rupert Sanders-directed film has Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron ready to star. Also, I’ve heard Universal is in talks with Hossein Amini to come aboard and do some script work on a project slated to begin production mid-September.” We’ll keep our eye for further developments.
