Jack Quaid and Leven Rambin Join Hunger Games

Are you ready to rumble? The tributes for The Hunger Games are, as their numbers continue to swell. We recently found out that Dayo Okeniyi and Amandla Stenberg have joined up with District 11, and Elizabeth Banks is circling the role of pink-haired Effie Trinket. Now, we learn through the Hunger Games Facebook page that the tribute slots for District One have now been filled with two lucky (or is that unlucky) contestants.
Jack Quaid and Leven Rambin have been tagged for the roles of Marvel and Glimmer. Rambin has previously appeared in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, One Tree Hill, CSI: Miami, and Private Practice. Quaid’s current claim to fame is the fact that he’s the son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, but he has the chance to make an actual name for himself in Hollywood if he’s able to bring ruthless Marvel to life on the big screen.
While I’m not sure about Quaid’s Marvel, the producers seem to be doing what they can to avoid a firestorm similar to the one that was started when Jennifer Lawrence was chosen as Katniss. Based on the description in the book, could they have come any closer to matching the physical description of Glimmer? A definite bulls-eye with that one.
