Jim Carrey Appears in The Office Season 7 Finale

Have you gotten your official invite to appear on the season finale of The Office? Me neither, but we’re obviously part of a small minority as THR reports that Jim Carrey is joining the ever-expanding cast for the close-out of Season 7.

Will the rubber-faced funnyman be joining Ricky Gervais, Will Arnett, Ray Romano, James Spader, and Catherine Tate in competition for the coveted seat that will temporarily(?) be filled by Will Ferrell after Steve Carell makes his departure on the 28th? Chances are good the answer is yes, but you can never tell with Carrey. The powers-that-be are keeping the typical tight lid on details about his role so he could make an appearance as an insane delivery guy for all we know.

The hour-long Season 7 finale airs May 19th, but they network isn’t going to have enough people available to watch it if they keep bringing in the cameo appearances.

I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that my invite will be arriving in the mail any day now.
