NCIS – Kerr Smith Guest Stars

Have you been hard on the trail of the Port to Port killer on NCIS? The popular CBS series is enjoying a strong season eight. You can watch full episodes over at the official series website, including episode 20, titled “Two-Faced (read our review now).
TV Guide reports you and the usual team members will not be alone in your serial killer hunt. The very dashing, former Dawson’s Creek actor, Kerr Smith has signed the dotted line and will be appearing in the “season-ending, two-episode arc” pitting the team against the wily killer. Smith will portray ex-military man, Lt. Jonas Cobb.
Executive producer Gary Glasberg told TV Guide, “Lt. Cobb’s unique talents and training will play a key role in helping the team figure out the identity of the Port-to-Port Killer.” So, there’s something to look forward to, folks!
Smith isn’t the only newbie on the set. NUMB3RS star Alimi Ballard and Matthew Willig are also guest starring as NCIS agents who answer to E.J. Barrett (Sarah Jane Morris). Those will be seen for the first time on this Tuesday’s episode, “as Barrett’s team is officially given the lead in the Port-to-Port Killer case.”
Where else do you know actor Kerr Smith from? Here is a portion of his acting resume: The Closer, E-Ring, Justice, CSI: NY, Eli Stone, and Life Unexpected.
