New X-Men: First Class Poster
The newest promo poster for New X-Men: First Class was released yesterday, and instead of uping the hype of the movie, it seems the response has gone in quite the opposite direction.
Sadly, this isn’t the first time teaser posters for the movie have been released to less than stellar buzz around the Internet. In the beginning of March two character posters came out of Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and Xavier (James McAvoy). Critics, and fans, bashed the over edited photos of the two. In addition, two more posters uploaded to the movie’s Facebook page added more speculation about the quality of the designers, and the need to get the photos done in hurry.
Folks over at Empire say this is the work of the graphic artist: “Then there’s the general lack of necks on most of the mutants here, the perennial problem of the disappearing shadows / reflections on the floor, and a general lack of co-ordination, walking-wise.”
What do you think about the posters? Are they turning you away from wanting to see the movie, or are they making June 2nd not come fast enough? Or are shots like the one’s shown in yesterday’s post helping ease the worries about the film the posters have caused?
Personally, I’m more excited that I get to see Mr. Rochester, Michael Fassbender, as Magneto and can forgive the not-so-awesome graphic design.
