PSYCH get new kid on the block Joey McIntyre, Condoleezza Rice on 30 Rock

Joey McIntyre might be hiding a dark secret, but EW.com assures us that it has nothing to do with being a former member of a boy band.
He might have been hot stuff with the New Kids on the Block and he showed that he wasn’t a shabby dancer when he made it to third place on the first season of Dancing With the Stars, but can McIntyre keep his cool when Psych’s Shawn and Gus think he’s hiding something?
McIntyre will be guest-starring on Psych’s sixth season as a “buff new officer” at the Santa Barbara PD, but Shawn and Gus think the new guy isn’t always toting a badge when he busts bad guys because they believe McIntyre is the mysterious Mantis, the masked vigilante that’s been taking down a drug syndicate.
It should definitely be an interesting adventure when Psych returns to the USA Network in the fall, especially when the show gets a little bite with the first vampire slayer.
A former New Kid on the Block might be sort of impressive but it doesn’t come anywhere close to matching the big name that will be showing up on NBC’s 30 Rock, according to The Huffington Post.
Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) spent Season One referring to Condoleeza Rice as his girlfriend, and now it looks like his special someone is going to be paying him a visit.
Tina Fey made the announcement during an appearance on WNYC’s Leonard Lopate Show on Thursday, saying, “Every now and then we hear that someone wants to come, but usually we ask them, usually we try and do it where we write the part first so that we have something good to offer them, ’cause all actors like to see, you know, a juicy part. We have some good- coming up in the next few weeks before we wrap [season 5], we have another few amazing cameos. One, I’m going to make an executive decision that I’m allowed to talk about this – we have Condoleezza Rice coming up in a couple weeks on the show.”
As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Tom Hanks will also be stopping by 30 Rock in a guest spot this season.
