Robert Pattinson Talks Wall Girls and Bad Guys
How can you NOT make news when you have a hoard of voracious fans, you made the cover of Entertainment Weekly recently, and there are at least four major motion pictures in development with your name all over them? I’m talking Robert Pattinson, my friends, and today he’s in the news again.
Our sister site, BSCKids has the skinny on what Mr. Pattinson thinks about bad guys who get away with it and which women were his pin up girls before his launch into fame.
First up, let’s discover the kind of woman R-Patz is attracted to, shall we?
“I was always obsessed with Kate Moss. On my bedroom wall, I had a poster of Linda Blair and Kate Moss,” he told Elle of his celebrity crushes growing up. “I always liked Jane Fonda. Who else? Ellen Burstyn.”
Now, those of you familiar with Bel Ami, the film pitting Pattinson versus the likes of Kristen Scott Thomas, Uma Thurman, and Christina Ricci, know his character is not a nice guy. What does the actor think about that role?
“I thought it was funny as well — ‘Twilight’ having quite a bit of a female audience — to play a guy who basically screws women out of money,” he said. “I like the fact that you never hear of a movie where the bad guy stabs every single person in the back and then wins.”
Pattinson’s upcoming films, aside from Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (part one), due in theaters this November, and Water for Elephants, coming later this month, are Bel Ami and Cosmopolis.
