The RZA to Recur in Showtime’s Californication Season 5

What do the Wu-Tang Clan and actor David Duchovny have in common? Califonication, baby!

TV Line served up this scoop, saying, “The Showtime comedy has tapped Grammy winning hip-hop pioneer, Wu-Tang Clan leader and occasional actor Robert Fitzgerald Diggs (a.k.a. The RZA) to join the cast in a major recurring role.” Did you get that last bit? Yes, the role is recurring!

RZA will portray a character tentatively called “Apocalypse”. He is a “dangerous hip-hop mogul who Hank (David Duchovny) considers writing a movie for.” Perhaps “Apoc” will put a gun to Hank’s head. You never know!

RZA has appeared in American Gangster, Ghost Dog, Due Date, Repo Man and The Next Three Days. His 2008 album, “Digi Snacks” under the alias Bobby Digital.
