Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon – More Sentinel and Optimus Prime
Optimus Prime has never looked better. The time is close at hand for Michael Bay to unleash upon the world Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. In fact, the film opens in 3D on July 1st and ComingSoon.net has an image to help you remember that very date. Following that link will take you to a beautiful image of the heroic Autobot wielding a silver mini-gun appendage on one arm and a glowing hot blade on the other. But we have much more than that to reveal today.
Collider.com has presented a fantastic glimpse at another Autobot called Sentinel Prime. You can see him up above. Sentinel, who I know very little about, is voiced by none other than legendary actor Leonard Nimoy. Click the link to Collider to get a full body shot of the silver and red alien robot.
So, what can we expect from this story on this 3rd adventure? “This one is a more mature storyline, definitely darker, more emotional in the end,” says Bay. “You feel the stakes are higher because it takes place in an American city. You’re not disconnected with Egypt and the pyramids. I’m very happy with the movie. It’s a small group and you follow them. There’s no cavalry coming. …We used the term Black Hawk Down. We try to make the cavalry unable to come. And it’s more fun to watch our heroes in this epic ending with just a small group. It makes it more intimate.”
Bay also said actor John Malkovich would join the cast.
The picture has even made the news in France. Here on BSC, we’ve got a film still featuring the principal human actors. Check out the trailer now.
