Family Guy and The Cleveland Show To Return

The laughs won’t stop here. Deadline.com reports Fox’s animated comedies Family Guy and The Cleveland Show will return next season. That puts Seth MacFarlane’s Griffin family right into a tenth season, while Cleveland Brown’s family spin-off will see their fourth. You guessed it. American Dad is also so fortunate. It has been renewed for a seventh season. Please note, The Cleveland Show is only in its second season currently, even though it is now slated to stick around at least until season four (the two shows are on different production schedules).

“For nine seasons, our viewers have been cracked up, delighted, surprised and, at times, gloriously disturbed by the mind of Seth MacFarlane — and they keep coming back for more,” Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly said. “The Griffins and the Browns have become cornerstones of our Sunday nights, and we can’t wait to find out what new adventures Seth, Mike and Rich cook up for them next season.”

Did you know Cleveland’s young wife Donna is voice acted by gorgeous big screen actress Sanaa Lathan (The Family That Preys)? There’s some trivia for you.

We at BoomTron also hear Seth MacFarlane is hard at work on a film. The movie is called Ted and it recently cast V‘s Laura Vandervoort!
