Fringe Returns Seth Gabel in Season 4

Are there any Lincoln Lee fans out there? I know I’m one.

Fringe fans should be rightly stoked that actor Seth Gabel will be returning for Season 4 as a series regular. Now any fan of Fringe knows there are two versions of every character (minus Peter of course), and now there’s a bridge linking the two universes. Now it looks like anyone from either universe can cross over (until otherwise proven).  So the question is, which version of Lincoln will we be seeing?

TV Line has this to say on the matter:

In a March episode, viewers finally met Linc’s “Over Here” doppelganger — a mild-mannered FBI desk jockey. But I think it’s safe to say it’s the immensely popular alt-Linc who will be the version we see more of come fall.

I’m willing to bet we’ll get to see a bit of both characters. Alt-Linc is always awesome to have around and I’m a huge supporter of his love for Fauxlivia, but I would like to see Over Here’s Linc evolve. He showed a lot of potential in his one episode and seemed like he could a big asset to the Fringe team. We saw little snippets of his alt-self underneath the boring, desk jockey surface. Wouldn’t it be great to see the two Lincoln’s interact? That would be a lot of awesome to hold on screen. Whatever his fate on the show is, I’m just stoked to be seeing Seth Gabel on TV more.
