Sam Claflin with Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron in Snow White?

We’ve been hearing a lot about Snow White and the Huntsman because almost everything about it sets off the celeb radar. Twilight fans raved while others retched over Kristen Stewart becoming Snow White, and the Evil Queen will obviously pack plenty of star power with Charlize Theron in the role. The revolving door has seen many come and go for the role of the huntsman, although Chris Hemsworth is the current star of choice, but there’s been absolutely no word on another important fairy tale character… until now.

Deadline reports that Sam Claflin has been chosen for the role of the prince, and if he looks familiar, it’s probably because you saw him hanging out with a mermaid in one of the latest posters for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Claflin will also be starring alongside Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore in the supernatural thriller, The Seventh Son, which is expected to start shooting in March.

Snow White and the Huntsman is scheduled for a December 21, 2012 release, if they can manage to find a huntsman sometime in this lifetime.
