Torchwood: Miracle Day Season 4 Promo Pics

It’s getting to be about that time when fans of Torchwood must be looking for any way to make time go by faster. Miracle Day is set to start in a little over a month and you can all celebrate while staring at these new character promo pics. Try not to get lost in Captain Jack’s eyes. Not psyched on pictures alone? Here’s the synopsis for the series:

One day, nobody dies. All across the world, nobody dies. And then the next day, and the next, and the next, people keep aging — they get hurt and sick — but they never die. The result: a population boom, overnight.

With all the extra people, resources are finite. It’s said that in four month’s time, the human race will cease to be viable. But this can’t be a natural event – someone’s got to be behind it. It’s a race against time as C.I.A. agent Rex Matheson investigates a global conspiracy. The answers lie within an old, secret British institute. As Rex keeps asking “What is Torchwood?”, he’s drawn into a world of adventure, and a threat to change what it means to be human, forever.

I’ve been saying for weeks that this series sounds like a real winner. It’s a creative in the best way and is certainly risky storytelling. I’m sure plenty will see it as the social commentary that it is. Hopefully some good debate will get stirred up from it. Check it out starting June 8 and in the meantime enjoy the pictures!

About Brody Gibson

+Brody Gibson studied film in Vancouver, BC. I originally intended to become a video editor, but realized I have a passion for writing. To say I love television is a bit of an understatement. I watch it religiously, think about it constantly. To be able to talk about it is one the best things in the world. Combining that with my love of writing gives me the opportunity to express my opinions to the Internet masses and start gripping conversations.

I am a Torchwood fan but I am not looking forward to this new season. They say it will be even darker than the last one. I used to watch Torchwood for enjoyment, not to be depressed…Anyway I don’t want to get attached to new characters who will just unnecessarilly die at some point like Ianto Jones.
