Covert Affairs Season 2 – Thor’s Jaimie Alexander and Peter Stormare Guest Star

Covert Affairs wants good talent for it’s guest roles and has sought out two fantastic candidates. If you went out and saw the first big superhero flick of the year, Thor, than you should recognize Jaimie Alexander. She played the Asgardian warrior Sif, who was tough and a loyal friend. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, that’s not the kind of character Alexander will be playing on Covert Affairs, who will be a recurring in at least three episodes.

Alexander will play new tech Reva Kline, described as an attractive brunette in her thirties, who was the youngest person to ever land a project in the CIA’s Directorate of Science & Technology. Reva’s inability to socialize with others presents a challenge for CIA agent Annie Walker (Piper Perabo) when the two are forced to work with each other.

Joining the show as the show as well for one of the episodes is non other than Peter Stormare, an actor who has played some terrific villains in the past, most notably as one of the kidnappers in Coen brother movie, Fargo. He’ll be playing a kidnapper again during the episode in which he appears. This time though he’s leading a group who kidnap Annie and Reva

Stormare’s Max, described as cunning and professional, hopes to extract a ransom out of the United States in return for Annie and Reva’s safe return.

Also appearing this season is the beautiful Rebecca Mader. Just more to look forward to as the show starts its second season tonight.
