Megan Fox Cameo in Dictator

Sacha Baron Cohen is apparently feeling pretty brave these days because THR brings word that he’s bringing in Megan (kiss of box-office death) Fox for a cameo in his comedy, The Dictator. Of course, it’s only a cameo so maybe he’s thinking the damage couldn’t be that bad.
After becoming a huge name with her role in the first two Transformers films, and getting even more attention when she left (got kicked out of) the franchise, Fox took a few more stabs with action-oriented films like Jennifer’s Body and a spin with the indies in Passion Play, but comedy seems to be her new passion these days. In addition to the upcoming cameo in The Dictator, she also appears in the ensemble dramedy Friends with Kids and Judd Apatow’s This is Forty, which starts shooting this summer.
John C. Reilly also has a cameo in the film described as “the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.” Cohen reportedly plays both a goat herder and a deposed foreign ruler lost in the United States. Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley and Jason Mantzoukas also star.
The Dictator is currently in production in New York with Larry Helm (Borat) directing. Paramount is being hush-hush about Reilly and Fox’s roles so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
