NCIS: LA Season 3 Gets Deep with LL Cool J

If you’ve been waiting for LL Cool J to tap into some of his musical background on the set of NCIS: LA, then your wait is almost over! The actor is about to allow his character on the hit series to get deep.
“It is a very, very powerful episode, one that reveals something about [LL's] character,” executive producer Shane Brennan said to TVLine. “LL Cool J is excited about it, and he is going to be involved in the music for that episode. So that is something to look forward to.”
So, when can fans expect to get their groove on? LL will warm up his vocal cords for an episode expected to hit sometime in “the first three or four episodes” of the upcoming season three. That’s when all eyes (and ears) will be on Special Agent Sam Hanna’s past.
LL has won 2 Grammys, 10 Soul Train Awards, and 2 MTV Video Music Awards. A few of his most memorable hip hop songs are “I Can’t Live Without My Radio”, “I’m Bad”, “The Boomin’ System”, and “Mama Said Knock You Out”.
What else did TV Line have to say about the new season three? Read for yourself.
…another NCIS: LA agent getting a blast of backstory during the coming cycle will be Daniela Ruah’s Kensi Blye. “Next season we’ll focus on … the why and where of Kensi,” Brennan told me, hinting that the spilled secrets will rattle the “thing” she has simmering with Deeks. “When you reveal something about one character that the other doesn’t know, it puts pressure on the partnership,” Brennan explains. “It makes them ask questions.”
