Transformers: Dark of the Moon – Review – An Action Packed Bore

What are John Malkovich, Alan Tudyk, and Leonard Nimoy doing in a robot movie? Taking up space. Only Michael Bay could take actors of that caliber and waste their potential. Sam Witwicky is back. He has a college degree and just as he starts his new job the Decepticons come back. Now Sam joins up with his old military friends and Optimus Prime to save the world. In tow is his new Victoria Secret model girlfriend Carly, his annoying parents Ron and Judy, and Wheelie the turncoat from the second movie. Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, and Tyrese Gibson all reprise their roles for this movie.

I read the first two names in the first sentence of this review and agreed. Then I read Lenard Nemoy and realized the writer of this article doesn’t know nor bothered to do any research before sticking their “foot in mouth”. Nemoy was part of the 1985 team of voice actors in the animated transforders movie as Galvatron the successor to Megatron. He later appear in the voice cast of the final seasons of the animated series. I would hope that the “reason” he appeared in this movie and was “allowed” by J.J. Abrams to take time off from the new Star Trek sequel was to preserve some of the original transformer franchise legacy. So in summary the next time you want to write a short review on “the one thing that pissed me off so much that I forgot to enjoy washigton DC getting torn to bits” do some research.
