When does the Twilight Saga cross paths with The Vampire Dairies? Today! Right here and now.

In a new video, which you can see for yourself down below, CW actress Nina Dobrev talks Twilight! MTV caught the lovely Elena actress in an impromptu interview where she revealed Twilight actors and Vampire Diaries actors “run in the same circles”. But do they run with werewolves? Kidding! Dobrev said her CW series exists because of Twilight and that folks in both franchises were happy for the successes of the other. One big happy paranormal family, eh?

As for the Vampire Diaries, the show has been renewed for a new season. Nina Dobrev has also joined the cast of The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

   I love both VD and Twilight. They are both so different, so it makes for great fun. I also like the VD books, which are different from the show too.
