Wil Wheaton, Felicia Day, and Stan Lee to Appear on Syfy’s Eureka!

Eureka is looking to make all the geeks out there squeal with joy at the upcoming guest stars. Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: Next Generation‘s Ensign Crusher) is the kind of actor who loves being involved with his fanbase, evidenced by his frequent use of social media and willingness to play caricatures of himself. He has already appeared on the show as scientist Dr. Isaac Parrish in Season 4, and will return in the second half for a seven episode arc. His story is intertwined with another very fan favorite that’s appearing as well. Felecia Day (The Guild, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) will be playing a lady from the Department of Defense who finds herself fawned over by Dr. Parrish and Dr. Fargo (Neil Graystone). Wheaton and Day have worked together before on the web series The Guild.

And of course, the father of all nerdom, Stan Lee himself will have a cameo in the premiere episode as a leading expert on gamma radiation. It would be a real shame if they don’t role with this and throw out a handful of Hulk jokes. I wonder how long Stan Lee can continue doing these kinds of bit parts. He’s not a young guy. In fact he’s turning 89 this year. You might as well round up and say he’s 90! But he never misses a chance to appear on screen. I say let’s all give him a round of applause for being such a trooper.

Prepare yourselves my fellow geeks; Eureka Season 4.5 kicks off on July 11.
