Alona Tal Confirmed for Supernatural Season 7

For a show like Supernatural, there’s always the possibility of bringing back a popular character that’s tragically died, and thus is the case for Alone Tal, who will be back for Season 7. Tal played the unceasingly hot Jo Harvelle in the second and fifth seasons of the show. In her last appearance, she and her mother Ellen (Samantha Ferris) sacrificed themselves to give Sam and Dean time to escape a pack of hellhounds. It was a somber moment.

But nothing or no one stays dead for long on Supernatural (just look at Sam and Dean. They’ve both died like twice). Tal will return, but the question is in what condition? Last Season, Ferris came back as Ellen in an alternate reality episode, so will a similar trick be done to bring back Jo? Or will she come back from the dead more literally? Personally, I don’t want her to be permanently resurrected. With the exception of the Winchester boys, I like dead people to stay dead. If you bring Jo back, it makes her sacrifice less meaningful, and I think the writers would agree with me on that.

At the Supernatural panel at Comic-Con, we were told to expect some more familiar faces in the upcoming season, mainly the likes of Crowley, Sheriff Mills and the leader of the Four Horsemen, Death. From the looks of things so far, Season 7 is shaping up to be one epic season. The way the cast have been talking about it just adds to the building excitement.
