Bruce Campbell and Evil Dead 4 A Go?

Fans of Ash and his trusty chainsaw might be in for a treat because Collider brings word that Bruce Campbell is breathing new life into the Evil Dead franchise.
Editor Bob Murawski (Army of Darkness) is reportedly in Detroit to work on the project and interest in Evil Dead peaked when a blogger on Twitter (TheMike31) tweeted yesterday, “I won’t believe in a new Evil Dead film until I see it. Or at least not until @GroovyBruce tells me to believe in it.”
@GroovyBruce AKA Bruce Campbell responded back with, “@TheMike31 Believe in the remake, dawg! The project is real. In the works. Cool as hell. Scary as hell.”
Evil Dead 4 will apparently be “a small indie thing like the first two,” which probably won’t hurt the film’s cult following one bit. There’s no word yet on if Sam Raimi, who’s currently helming Oz: The Great and Powerful, will be back onboard, and it’s anyone’s guess right now as to whether this will be an actual sequel or if the series is being rebooted in an attempt for Campbell’s Ash to pass the torch to a younger hero.
Personally, I can’t even picture an Evil Dead flick without Campbell.
