Constance Zimmer of Entourage in Royal Pains

With Entourage now on its last season, Constance Zimmer is looking for a new posse to roll with over at USA’s Royal Pains. TVLine reports that Zimmer, who played studio executive Dana Gordon on Entourage, landed the role of Dr. Abby Burton, a psychiatrist and old friend of Hank’s (Mark Feuerstein). Abby works at Hank’s old hospital in Brooklyn and couldn’t be more pleased to see him. So pleased in fact, Zimmer might be kept on a recurring basis to serve as a possible love interest for Feuerstein’s character. While all the mushy romantic stuff is brewing, Dr. Abby might be able to help with one of Hank’s more important patients.
As far as women go, Hank is lucky to have such an attractive one reentering his life. He’d be a fool not to at least explore the possibility, unless she turns out to be crazy. That’s always a something to watch out for. It would be a fun twist if she were so into him so much she stalked him. The downside to that is Hank couldn’t sleep with her, because we all know the most important rule about dating; “Don’t have sex with crazy.”
You can expect to see Zimmer appear later on near the end of the current third season. Appearing earlier in the season is Julie Benz, who plays a lesbian farmer named Elyse, which should make for a fun episode. About halfway through the season, Wilmer Valderrama and Kyle Howard both begin multi-episode storylines. Valderrama serves as a love interest for Paige, while Howard is a doctor at Divya’s new job at Hamptons Heritage.
