Criminal Minds Season 7 Brings Senator Mark Moses

Actors Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster and A. J. Cook still lead the cast of Criminal Minds on CBS and a brand new season seven debuts in September. The Fall season will also see a new face on the set. Desperate Housewives actor and, let’s face it, “resident troublemaker,” Mark Moses is en route.
TV Line reminded fans that Moses “also had a memorable run” on the hit series Mad Men in the role of Herman “Duck” Phillips. This time around he will be a Criminal Minds senator leading the committee unfortunately investigating a case your favorite team botched. The premier of season seven actually opens four months after the events of the season six finale from last May and TV Line says, it will be heavy on flashbacks of the fateful case being that the Moses character must unravel.
In other news, Paget Brewster will return to season seven, but Rachel Nichols is out. Surprised? Fans of the show will also be pleased to learn about a spin-off.
Also on the resume of Mark Moses is Swing Vote, Red Dragon, and Gettysburg. He has taped episodes of Ghost Whisperer, Castle, Human Target and NYPD Blue.
CBS is also the place for J.J. Abrams and his Jim Caveizel starrer, Person of Interest. Yay!
