First Look – Lea Michele Brings Glee to Dorothy of OZ

Just an animated kind oif day so far at Boomtron, with a look at Glee’s Lea Michele in OZ following up our earlier look at Katee Sackhoff in Star Wars Clone Wars. More than a year ago we told you that Michele would be the voice of Dorothy, and though we’ve seen some OZ sketches, this is our first look at the Glee star’s character in Summertime Entertainment’s Dorothy of OZ.
Debuted online by MTV’s Hollywood Crush, I guess I shouldn’t say it features Michele in OZ because the image seems to show a Dorothy who is still in — or rather returning to — Kansas. Dorothy of OZ picks up after the classic story of OZ that most of the general public is aware of, and has the sound of a mystery with Dorothy having to go back to OZ to find her missing friends. Michele isn’t the only recognizable name lending her name and voice to the project. She is joined by a cast that includes Patrick Stewart (Tugg), Hugh Dancy (Marshall Mallow), Martin Short (The Jester), Dan Aykroyd (Scarecrow), Kelsey Grammer (Tinman) and Jim Belushi Lion). Expect to see Dorothy of OZ in theaters sometime next year.
